MudPie Beauty Cottage Gift Cards/E-Gift Certificates

MudPie Gift Cards/E-Gift Certificates are redeemable for treatments, products or services at MudPie Beauty Cottage, Dundrum Town Centre excluding aesthetic treatments with Dr.Paul. All gift cards are for the monetary value. Non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable online. No refunds or change will be given. MudPie Beauty Cottage Ltd does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen cards or any unauthorised use of the cards. We reserve the right not to accept a gift card which we consider to be affected by fraud. Valid for 5 years; no balance refunds upon expiry. Purchase/use of this card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions, which may be subject to change. Gift Cards are for monetary value as prices and treatments are subject to change.

  • For gift cards dispatched by post – please allow 3 to 5 working days. Please allow 7 days for delivery during peak postal times. No dispatch or delivery during IE Bank Holidays and weekends.

  • To book a date with your gift card please phone the salon. Bookings using a gift card cannot be done through the online booking system or via email.

  • Please always check voucher validity prior to booking.

  • Gift cards can be used any day but is subject to availability.

  • It is recommended that you book a date weeks in advance to get the appointment time you desire. All appointments are subject to availability.

  • You will need to bring your gift card on the day of your treatment.

  • We require at least 24 hour notification (48 hour notification for group bookings of 2 of more people) for any changes or cancellations to appointments. Cancellations must be made via phone and cannot be made through email or social media sites. We regret that a lack of notification will result in full billing of your scheduled services.

  • Prices and treatments are subject to change without prior notice.

Health Conditions

In order to avoid disappointment please inform us at the time of booking your appointment of any medical conditions that may affect your treatment. This includes heart conditions, high blood pressure, allergies or pregnancy. This information is strictly confidential. Certain medical conditions are contraindicated to some treatments. If you have an existing medical condition please do not book online before speaking directly to a member of staff.

Patch Tests

Treatments which require a patch test can be booked online, however you must ensure you have a patch test at MudPie Beauty Cottage prior to your treatment. You can drop into the salon for patch tests at any time during our opening hours. Failure to have a patch test will result in the salon being unable to carry out the treatment and full billing of your service.

Arrival

For new clients, we would ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment so that you can unwind and fill out a consultation form. Please be aware that if you arrive late the time of the appointment may be shortened or rescheduled in consideration of the next person and full service charges will occur. 

Please Note: If your appointment is first thing in the morning, you don’t need to arrive early.

Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours notice for any changes or cancellations. Cancellations must be made via phone and cannot be made through email or social media sites. We regret that a lack of notification will result in full billing of your scheduled services. If you have a gift voucher or a pre-paid course of treatments and do not show up for your treatment/cancel less than 24 hours before your treatment time, you will forfeit the cost of treatment. Groups of 2 or more people require 48 hours cancellation notice.

Please be aware we require at least 24 hours notification for any changes or cancellations. Failure to do so will result in full billing of your scheduled services. Cancellations/changes to bookings which were made online must be cancelled/changed online also and cannot be made via phone, through email or social media sites. Groups of 2 or more people require 48 hours cancellation notice.

Booking Deposit

A booking deposit is required at time of booking. Usual cancellation policy applies.

Children

Young babies or children are not permitted in our salon and cannot accompany you during your appointment so to allow complete relaxation for our clients and for health and safety reasons.

Mobile Phones

For the comfort and relaxation of yourself and others please switch off your mobile phone.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, MudPie Beauty Cottage Gift Cards/E-Gift Certificates and Dundrum Town Centre Gift Cards. We do not accept cash or cheques.

Courses

Full course payment is required at first treatment to qualify for discount. Courses, once purchased are non-refundable or transferable. All courses are valid for one year from purchase date. 

Online Product Returns Policy

We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. According to the Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to a 14 day cooling off period. This means that you can return any products purchased so long as they are unopened, unused and in the condition in which you received them within 14 days of your order being made.

How to contact us:
Please email info@mudpiebeauty.ie and state the reason for return along with proof of purchase.

Any products you wish to return must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the goods are returned safely to us via a postal or courier service. This cost must be covered by the customer.  If you are being issued a refund, we will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, less the delivery charges you incurred when you ordered.
